August 4 produced a single post: xenomy's one-line endorsement inside that same moderation debate. The window's energy split cleanly between social infrastructure (Discord trust) and a single gameplay quality-of-life question (overworld companions).

At 02:38 UTC on August 5, first-time poster Vzaxxx opened Eleons that follows you—a short thread that nonetheless names a feature players have assumed but rarely spelled out on the forum. Vzaxxx's pitch is straightforward: let your favorite caught Eleon follow you in the overworld and be the first creature to enter battle when wild encounters trigger.

That is not a mount request. The August 1–3 article already covered Yes_Sir's saddle hype in the Mountable eleons thread and Scarf's three-lane mount wish list from July. Vzaxxx is asking for the Pokémon-style partner that walks beside the trainer—visible identity in hubs, a default lead for random grass encounters, and emotional attachment to one slot in a roster that Eleon Co. has promised will exceed 300 species at launch.

Forty-eight minutes later, veteran xenomy replied with two sentences that reframed the entire thread: "i believe this is standard in the game."The post earned two likes—more engagement than Vzaxxx's opener—and suggests that testers or teaser watchers already treat companion following as baseline, not a stretch feature. xenomy has been one of the forum's most active voices on capture balls, typing debates, and housing; when xenomy calls something standard, other lurkers tend to treat it as soft confirmation even without an Eleon Co. citation.

Why this matters for Eleon Adventures watchers: companion following bridges overworld exploration and battle flow. If the lead Eleon auto- enters fights, Nuzlocke and difficulty-mode threads—like Suomm's June pitch covered in our June 29–July 1 roundup—need clarity on whether players can disable auto-send or reorder party slots before encounters. Mount threads from June and July assumed separate ride mechanics; Vzaxxx's thread asks whether the same creature can both walk beside you and later become a mount—a design question Eleon Co. has not answered publicly.

TruffleOne's Hire A Moderation Team For Eleons thread launched late on August 3 with allegations of selective Discord enforcement, level-based favoritism, and a call to replace volunteer mods with paid legal staff.
